Who we are


Counselling with Tricia (www.counsellingwithtricia.co.uk)  (“Website”) operates under the following privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”).
The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you what personally identifiable information may be collected and how it may be used. This statement only applies to this Website and not to services provided by practitioners e.g. counselling, consulting, speaker engagements etc. 

 
Type of Data collected


Information collected automatically: When you use the Website, certain information about you and the device with which you access the Website will be collected. For example, your IP address, operating system type, browser type, referring website, pages you viewed, and the dates/times when you accessed the Website will be logged. Information about the actions you take when using the Website, such as any links you clicked may also be logged.


Information provided by Users: Personal information, such as names or email addresses and telephone numbers which are voluntarily provided by users, may be collected e.g. on completion of a contact form, subscribing to a newsletter/blog , or downloading a resource. 

 

How Data may be used

To send you promotional information, such as newsletters. There will always be the option to unsubscribe in the footer of these emails.

How long Data will be retained


Automatically collected data will be recorded indefinitely. Data which is submitted voluntarily will be kept for the duration needed to provide the relevant service or until a user chooses to opt-out or withdraw their data.

Users can request deletion of their personal data at any time, however this will not include data which the service or its practitioners are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Counselling with Tricia may use third-party service providers to service various aspects of the Website. Each third-party service provider’s use of your personal information is dictated by their respective privacy policies.

In addition, user information may be shared with third parties as part of provision of services. In these instances, users will be notified of such relationships and explicit consent will be obtained.


Third party service providers currently used by the Website:

  1. Google Analytics 


Google Analytics is used to monitor Website usage and view information such as user actions on the Website. Google Analytics may capture your IP address, but no other personal information is captured by Google Analytics.

The Website may amend this list at any time. 
 

User personal information is not currently shared with any other third-parties.

User personal information will not be sold or distributed without consent, nor will personal information be revealed to third parties without consent, other than if/when required by law.

Should any third parties acquire all or a part of Counselling with Tricia, personal data collected through the Website might be transferred as part of the agreement.


Newsletters / Blogs / Mailing list


Users may subscribe to Newsletters, Blogs or Mailing list via the Website which may be used for advertising purposes and may contain tracking pixels which allow for analysis of marketing campaigns and help adapt the Website to fit the preferences of the users. This information is anonymised and coded and will only be used for the purposes of Counselling with Tricia and the Website.


Your rights 


Opting out


You can unsubscribe from future email communications by following the unsubscribe links in all emails. You can also request to be removed from the mailing list by emailing counsellingwithtricia@outlook.com.


Users may  

  • Request details of personal information which is held about them.

  • Request to amend or update their personal information.

  • Request their personal data be deleted.
